Bristol firm amongst UK elite following prestigious accreditation
Bristol-based Brunel Capital Partners have become one of only a handful of UK firms to satisfy the requirements for two prestigious national and international Standards.
Brunel as a whole has been awarded the BS8577 British Standard for their ‘Framework for the provision of financial advice and planning services’.
Individually, Brunel independent financial planners Damien Rylett, Steve Brady and David Buchan have each been awarded ISO 22222, the International Standard for personal financial planning.
The awards were made after a prolonged period of testing and reporting, carried out by an independent third party.
The team were required to show and improve processes and knowledge and complete various assessments to prove their capabilities.
Both awards are highly sought-after within the financial planning industry, with only a small number of firms currently holding the Standards.
Damien Rylett, Brunel Capital Partners Managing Director, comments: “Qualification for the Standards was undertaken as part of our continued commitment to ensure we are providing clients with the very best possible service in all areas.
“We are delighted to be one of only a handful of firms in our industry to receive BS8577 and ISO 22222 and will continue to work to the frameworks and guidelines each Standard sets out for superior practice in financial planning.”
