£1m refurbishment completes in Bristol’s marketing district as office demand stands firm

Property & Construction | South West

Just nine months after its acquisition, Topland Group of Companies is pleased to announce the completion of a £1.25 million refurbishment at 33 Bristol, an office building in Bristol’s marketing district.

Over 12,000 sq. ft. has already been let in the building and Topland says it has renovated it to reflect the market’s new expectations of quality office stock post lockdown.

Now, 33,850 sq. ft. remains on the market and Hartnell Taylor Cook, along with joint agents JLL and Burston Cook, are marketing the 2nd, 3rd and 4th floors as well as the transformed ground floor with its newly-installed mezzanine area.

Chris Grazier, Office Agency Partner at Hartnell Taylor Cook, comments: “This year has naturally made businesses across the country think twice about their office space. But 33 Bristol’s renovation and the volume of space already let show that Bristol remains a city of choice for businesses. For stock that’s a high-quality design, that supports the health and safety of its occupiers and that factors in sustainability, demand is holding firm. 33 Bristol is a great illustration of this.

“We’ve worked with 33 Bristol’s new owners over the past nine months to fulfil their vision of a modern, open-plan office that meets the requirements of today’s occupiers, and are delighted to see two tenants already enjoying the refurbished space. We look forward to helping more occupiers find a new home in the building in the coming weeks.”
