Advisory firm makes two new appointments and key promotions

Advisory firm Dow Schofield Watts has announced that two new appointments and a promotion at its Yorkshire and North East offices.

Alex Hill joins the transaction services team from KPMG, where he worked on a wide variety of clients ranging from manufacturing to constructing and retail with revenue typically ranging between £40m to £100m.

Sophie Colloby, transaction services partner, commented: “We are delighted to welcome Alex to the team. With 15 completions for the Yorkshire Transaction Services team so far in 2018 and a strong pipeline, he joins us at a really exciting time for the business.”

Bibin Johnson joins the corporate finance team from PWC, and has worked with clients in the industrial, manufacturing and retail sectors.

Meanwhile Paul Herriott has been promoted to director and co-owner in the corporate finance team. Herriot joined Dow Schofield Watts in 2013 from EY and has been involved in many of the firm’s deals in the region including the sale of Park Leisure 2000, the investment in The Feel Good Group by Perwyn and the sale of The Bridge IT to Morson Group.

Roger Esler, who heads up the corporate finance team, added: “It’s fantastic to be joined by such great talent as we grow our business in the region. Paul is an example of a professional that has thrived and excelled in this environment and has made a considerable contribution to the firm over the last five years.”
