AFC Bournemouth sign new deal with family-run jeweller

A family-run concept jewellery and watch business has renewed its partnership with AFC Bournemouth for the sixth consecutive season.

Michael Matthews Jewellery Ltd, which has a showroom in Westover Road, is continuing as a regional supporter of the Cherries. The long-established company also sponsors AFC Bournemouth’s Player of the Month award.

So it was apt that flying winger Ryan Fraser, who claimed the award for both August and September, was on hand to present a commemorative shirt to the company’s Matt and Mike Corica before a recent match.

Matt Corica, Director, said: “We have been supporters of AFC Bournemouth for many years and so we are very proud to continue our association, especially with the club enjoying its greatest period of success.”

“Michael Matthews Jewellery has been a feature of the Bournemouth retail scene for more than 20 years and and we hope to see the Cherries remain flying high and become an established fixture in the Premier League.

“It is an honour to be sponsoring the Player of the Month award as these star individuals really are the jewels in the club’s crown. We recognise that sport, as in business, it is very much a team effort. Congratulations to David Brooks for the October award.”

AFC Bournemouth Partnerships Manager Amy Brunton said: “We are delighted Michael Matthews Jewellery has signed up with us again. The business has been with us a long time and we are so glad the partnership has been extended.”
