Alliance Homes appoints new Chairman

Alliance Homes has appointed Simon Sweetinburgh as its new Chairman.

Simon has held a number of senior roles in the housing, care and support sector.

Since 2006, he has enjoyed a successful freelance career and has undertaken assignments on behalf of care and support providers, housing associations, local authorities, private developers and government agencies.

Simon also has a wealth of Board level experience and is a former Vice-Chair of Bristol Community Housing Foundation and former council member of Homeless International.

He is also currently a non-executive director of Guinness Care and Support, and of the Wiltshire and Swindon Sports Partnership.

In his new role Simon will lead on overseeing the delivery of a new Corporate Plan at the organisation.
