Andrea Maddalena becomes relationship director at NatWest
NatWest has further strengthened its team of specialist relationship managers in Bristol with the addition of a role focusing on the not-for-profit sector.
Andrea Maddalena, who has worked for the bank for 14 years, has taken up the role of relationship director specialising in supporting not-for-profit organisations including charities and schools.
She comments: “There are so many charities, schools and academies throughout Bristol and North Somerset and as a specialist in this sector I will be focusing all of my attention on helping them.
“I, like all of NatWest’s relationship managers and directors, am independently accredited by the Chartered Banker Institute, and this is something which customers find reassuring.
Andrea will also be helping to deliver MoneySense, NatWest’s flagship financial education programme, to schools in Bristol and North Somerset.
MoneySense delivers financial lessons to thousands of school children in secondary schools and is about to be rolled out to primary schools. It aims to help children learn money-management skills.
Matt Hatcher, NatWest’s director of commercial banking for Bristol, comments: “Andrea is the latest addition to a nationwide team of 70 specialists in the not-for-profit sector.
“Having this level of expertise in our Bristol team means that local not-for-profit organisations can work with a contact who thoroughly understands the sector, understands the pressing issues facing them and can provide integrated, insightful and effective support.”
