Association of Women in Property announces new south west branch Chair
The South West branch of Women in Property (WiP) has announced its new branch Chair.
Natasha Cottell, Business Development Manager of Wates Construction takes up the role from 1st March 2016 for one year and has been a member of WiP for 4 years.
Natasha, who will take on the mantle from construction and engineering solicitor, Natalia Sokolov of Thrings, works across the Southern Home Counties (SHC) and South West for Wates Construction.
She is responsible for building key relationships, whilst identifying business opportunities and maintaining extensive knowledge of current market conditions throughout this region.
Natasha said: “Women in Property has been supporting women working in the property and construction sector for nearly 30 years, promoting networking, mentoring and professional development. Over this time, the diversity agenda has really come to the fore, with employers beginning to understand the benefits that come from bringing together a mixed team.
“WiP is a great advocate of this and works hard to help senior management address diversity issues and help less experienced members realise their potential.”
Peter Whitmore, Business Unit Director for Wates Construction, Southern Home Counties & South West, commented: “Natasha is committed to flying the flag for the property sector and her passion, enthusiasm and aptitude for our industry makes her appointment as South West Chairman for Women in Property extremely well earned.”
