Business ties with Germany strengthened

Three new routes have been launched from Bristol Airport.
bmi regional has announced the launch of new flights from Bristol to Munich, Milan and Hannover.
Cathal O’Connell, who is Chief Executive of bmi regional comments: “The launch of these routes to Munich, Milan and Hannover is a continuation of bmi regional’s promise to serve key economic and tourism hubs in Europe from the UK.
“We are positioning bmi regional for real growth in Bristol and the South West, having already launched three routes from Bristol before Christmas to Aberdeen, Frankfurt and Hamburg.”
Robert Sinclair, who is Chief Executive Officer at Bristol Airport, comments: “We are delighted with the announcemet that bmi regional will expand its route network from Bristol Airport and will commence three new routes to Munich, Hannover and Milan.
“Businesses in the region have told us that more connections to Germany are one of their top priorities, promoting trade and commerce with Europe’s largest economy.
“At the Airport, we continue to improve the experience for the business traveller.
“Recent enhancements include an expanded premier car park, additional security channels, a second immigration facility and a new business lounge which will be opened in April 2013.”
Non-stop flights to Munich, Milan and Hannover from Bristol commence Monday 13th May 2013 with six flights on each route per week.
The Bristol-Frankfurt schedule changes to twice a day on the same day.
