Brewin Dolphin supports thriving UK scale-up community
Brewin Dolphin are one of the UK’s leading wealth managers. Founded in 1762, the company helps businesses and individuals to invest through its bespoke financial planning and investment services.
This award is open to any firm that actively supports or advises businesses – whether that be in a legal, insurance or accountancy context. The independent panel of judges will be looking at the last twelve months of trading and will want to see an overview of the firm, its structure and client base.
They will also be looking for a clear corporate social responsibility plan; evidence of how the entrant has gone over and above for clients; evidence of commercial performance; and commitment to staff well-being and evidence of associated programmes.
Tom Annear, Assistant Director (Business Development) at Brewin Dolphin, comments: “We are specialist wealth advisers working with professional service firms and their underlying clients. As a result, sponsoring the Advisory Firm of the Year was a perfect fit. We are also excited to be judging the Entrepreneur of the Year and Scale-Up Business of the Year categories which speaks to our experience in advising business owners.
“As wealth advisers we have a specialist proposition built around advising business owners throughout the business lifecycle, and so it was a natural fit to come onboard to sponsor an award and become a judge.
He continues: “This is a fantastic opportunity for our experts to be in front of some exciting businesses and to hear about the brilliant things companies and entrepreneurs are doing across a breadth of sectors. In sponsoring these awards, we look to deepen our understanding of the challenges faced by businesses and explore how we might help.”
Founder of the Amazon ScaleUp Awards, Andrew Scott comments: “I am delighted to announce that Brewin Dolphin have joined the illustrious line up of sponsors for the Amazon ScaleUp Awards.”
