A Bristol-based business is celebrating its latest innovation receiving backing from a rising business figure and former successful Dragon’s Den contestant.
Twenty year old Jordan Daykin was the youngest ever person to receive backing on the famous TV show, which matches investors with entrepreneurs and their ideas, for his firm GripIt Fixings.
Jordan’s stock is rising fast and he recently purchased a Bristol-born innovation that was brought to market less than a year ago.
The product in question is Clip Exhibition and Display’s new refresh® stand that Jordan has used to showcase his business at a recent exhibition.
Clip Exhibition and Display is an international leader in the design and build of exhibition stands; and following years of research and development the business launched refresh® in 2015 – a game changer for the exhibition and display sector.
refresh® is a premium fabric-based exhibition stand system that can be configured into any shape or size.
It bridges the gap between a simple shell scheme and full-blown stand by offering a ‘third option’ that is multipurpose and low cost; and can be configured without needing to use tools or bring in outside contractors.
Businesses have been quick to take advantage of the cost-effectiveness and ease of use of refresh® and are using the system to draw the crowds at events around the world.
GripIt Fixings used the refresh stand as it made its debut at Screwfix Live last year at the Farnborough FIVE venue and the business is also set to make appearances at this year’s show, and is making its debut at Grand Designs and the Home Build and Renovations Show 2016.
