A Bristol-based waste management company has recently celebrated reaching a record turnover of £3.5 million.

Waste Source have achieved the milestone one month ahead of target and it means the company is over 50% up on its previous year’s financial performance.

Employees and senior staff marked the occasion with a champagne breakfast at their offices at the Tobacco Factory in Bristol.

Waste Source was founded in 2010 with the aim of making waste disposal a simple and environmentally-friendly process for its clients, also setting an example for other businesses by using primarily digital-only working methods.

A combination of new contract wins and its existing clients taking on more services, have contributed to the positive figures.

Chris Holland, the founder and Managing Director of Waste Source, comments: “Anybody who runs a business will know that there are many challenges you face, which makes moments like this more rewarding. All of the team have worked so hard this year, so to hit a record turnover earlier than projected is a huge achievement.”

In June 2017 the company also won a major business award for its commitment to customer service.

Chris concludes: “At Waste Source we provide each business with a waste package that is uniquely tailored to them, saving them money whilst also keeping them ahead of the curve in terms of government regulations and requirements.”

The company operate across multiple sectors including retail, hospitality, property, construction and many more.

Clients include Boston Tea Party, Turtle Bay, The Ivy restaurant, and Oak Furnitureland; and Waste Source work with companies that operate across multiple sites on a long-term basis, as well as on one off projects.
