Bristol law firm recruits new business development consultant following growth

Lindsey Newman has joined Bristol-based Menzies Law

Lindsey Newman has joined Bristol-based Menzies Law to focus on business growth and the development of client relationships. Lindsey joins Menzies Law following 15 years as a founder and director of boutique HR executive recruitment firm, Purple House.

Lindsey is well-respected for creating long-term trusted relationships and also has considerable experience building and developing businesses and brands.

She joins Menzies Law following the firm’s UK Regional Law Firm of the Year (Human Resources) win, in the Legal 500 2018 Awards, to build on this success and to underpin the firm’s ambitious growth strategy for 2018/19.

Having completed a law degree at the University of Bristol – and having passed her solicitors’ exams – Lindsey moved into a career focusing on legal and HR recruitment, applying the sector and service understanding gained during her studies.

Prior to setting up Purple House, Lindsey worked for Bristol Law Society, where she sourced lawyers for member firms, and Carr-Lyons Search & Selection, establishing their HR recruitment brand in Bristol.

Before her move to Bristol she worked in London for a niche recruitment business called In-House Legal, where she was part of a team recruiting In-House lawyers for blue chip clients in the UK and internationally.
