Vicky Pryce, Board Member, Centre for Economics and Business Research, will look ahead at the fractious relationship between politics and economics and its role as the UK navigates the difficult road ahead post-Brexit at the next lecture in this autumn’s Bristol Distinguished Address Series.

Post-Brexit Britain – the road ahead will look ahead at the very difficult interplay of politics and economics that the UK will need to navigate through, as a result of this momentous vote to leave the EU in a world currently dominated by geo-political tensions and migration issues caused by conflicts it seems to be unable to control.

An audience of over 200 is expected including over 100 leaders from the business community, as well as local government leaders, UWE Bristol academics and alumni.

Following the talk, there will be an opportunity for the audience to put forward their issues and questions at this event.

Series organiser, Professor Nicholas O’Regan says, “We are delighted by the calibre of this year’s speakers, the series is an excellent opportunity for members of the business community in Bristol, as well as our own students, alumni and staff to hear directly from inspirational figures in industry with a wealth of strategic experience and leadership skills at the highest level.”

The Bristol Distinguished Address Series is free to attend and open to members of the business community.
