Brunelcare welcome Chinese delegation

ws_China_Flag_1920x1200Brunelcare recently welcomed a delegation of 10 Chinese visitors to look round the care home, dementia facilities and offices at its Saffron Gardens site.

The visiting Chinese team comprised business managers working mainly for property developers in Suzhou, China.

The team were granted a 3-day trip to the UK to visit companies that demonstrate the latest ideas in dementia and care living and building design.

They spent an afternoon in Bristol.

Led by Mr Kam Wong, Founder and Chairman of the Bristol China Partnership, himself a Bristol resident, the team were especially interested to visit Saffron Gardens to see for themselves a purpose built care home.

The team from China all work for businesses who are developing elderly care support properties in and around Suzhou near Shanghai, China.

Like the UK, China faces increasing demand for purpose built accommodation to support a fast growing older population.

Dianne Francombe, Chief Executive, Bristol & West of England China Bureau, comments: “We were delighted to welcome the team from Suzhou briefly to Bristol yesterday.

“I know that they found the visit to Brunelcare very interesting and that they learned a lot from seeing the set up.

“It helped them to open their eyes to the alternative provision and the standard of care Brunelcare are providing in Bristol. ”
