BT looking to score the three-count for exclusive WWE TV rights in the UK

Leisure & Tourism | South East

Today, there are reports that BT Sport is set to announce plans to show WWE programming on their channels as part of a major shake-up.

The global sports entertainment franchise has been shown on Sky TV for more than two decades, and have long had a working relationship on other programmes and events together.

WWE is a multi-billion dollar enterprise whose several weekly TV shows get shown to over 100 million people.

With WWE’s flagship shows Monday Night Raw and Smackdown Live suffering from a current ratings slump, many are wondering what WWE CEO and billionaire Vince McMahon will do to appease the UK fanbase.
