Business development specialist joins Bristol accountancy firm

The Bristol office of Smith & Williamson, the accountancy, investment management and tax group, has appointed Rebecca Tregarthen as senior business development manager.
Rebecca will promote the interests of Smith & Williamson in the Bristol and South West area.
Rebecca has a wealth of experience within the business development field and joins from Vinci Construction UK, where she held a similar position.
She has over 20 years’ experience working with a variety of companies, predominantly within the marketing and business development teams in the real estate sector. Rebecca was chair of the Bristol branch of the Institute of Directors from December 2013 to December 2016.
Mike Lea, senior partner in the Bristol office, said: “Rebecca has excellent contacts and a fantastic reputation for business development. We have appointed her to help Smith & Williamson forge links with businesses that require our services.”
Rebecca, who at one time ran her own business development consultancy, said: “I’m excited to be joining such a well-known and well-respected team and I’m looking forward to raising the profile of the office among the business community.”
She is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Manufacturers, Arts and Commerce (RSA) and a Governor Trustee of the Winterbourne International Academy.
