The finalists for the 2017 Business Leader Awards have been announced.

The event has become the most prestigious business awards in the South West and celebrates business and enterprise, across small, medium and large companies.

The awards were open to businesses across the South West and independently judged.

A team of 14 judges – that can be seen here – spent five weeks visiting businesses and looking over the entries to reach a decision.

Over 180 entries were received across all the entries.

The shortlisted companies are as follows – with one winner, from each category, to be revealed at the Awards on Thursday September 28.
