On October 31, over 100 business leaders from companies across the South West will be meeting at the University of the West of England, to discuss how ethical business solutions can shape a sustainable prosperous future for local businesses and the city of Bristol.

The conference comes in a year where professional business integrity is being highly scrutinised around the globe.

In this same period, the city of Bristol has used initiatives such as the Bristol Pound and its recognition as the European Green Capital 2015 as a platforms to gain respect for its ethnical credentials.

The Board 2020 Conference will be led by Steve Hindley CBE DL, Chairman at Midas Group, who will be giving will be giving a fascinating insight into ethical choices in business from his experience of growing a company from a small construction firm into one of the UK’s largest property services providers.

Steve is also heavily involved in lobbying government, promoting education and supporting charities.

Tax experts from Baker Tilly and AC Mole will be giving a staged debate on taxation and morality in business, each taking an opposing view on what is ‘right’ for businesses to pay in the current difficult economic climate.
