Cardiff-based communications company Thevoicefactory (TVF) has secured a £500,000 investment from Finance Wales to support its international expansion plans.

The business, based in Nantgarw, provides integrated communications products to the hospitality, leisure, automotive and legal sectors.

It currently operates in 21 European countries, including France, Germany and Italy, and recently launched in the US with two bases in Florida and California.

The loan from Finance Wales will support expansion for TVF, which is set to move to new, larger offices.

Managing director Paul Harrison said: “We have grown significantly over the last three years and with the investment from Finance Wales we are able to go for international growth in the US and Asia. Our international growth plan will lead to more jobs in both the US and here in Wales.”

Finance Wales senior portfolio executive Leanna Davies added: “We’re pleased to be backing a dynamic business in a growing sector. TVF has a capable and insightful management team led by Paul Harrison, and has the vision and technology to achieve their ambitious growth plans.”

Funding for the deal came from the Wales Business Fund, a European Regional Development Fund and Welsh Government-backed £136m fund.
