cheesegeek secures £150,000 from Steven Bartlett in Dragon’s Den appearance
London-based cheesegeek has become the first business to gain investment from the newest Dragon on Dragon’s Den, Steven Bartlett.
Joining the team of Dragons at 29, Steven is the youngest Dragon to have ever been on the show. Steven is the founder and former CEO of social media marketing agency The Social Chain and has since gone on to work on a number of other ventures as well as releasing his debut book, Happy Sexy Millionaire: Unexpected Truths about Fulfillment, Love and Success.
On January 6th’s episode, the Dragons welcomed the award-winning British artisan cheese company into the Den, who subsequently became Steven’s first investment.
Cheesegeek was set up in 2017 by Edward Hancock and offers a selection of cheeseboxes and individual cheeses, which are available to buy online.

Steven offered to invest £150,000 and now has a 5% share in the business. Going forward, Steven will work with cheesegeek to increase brand awareness, as well as bring his significant expertise, knowledge and experience to cheesegeek’s marketing function.
