National law firm Clarke Willmott has announced two internal partner promotions in its Bristol office.

The promotions follow continued growth at Clarke Willmott, which has also seen the recent relocation to new offices in London and Manchester to support this growth as well as recent and planned lateral hires.

Tim Copplestone, who joined Clarke Willmott in 2007 is an employment lawyer in the firm’s sports sector, based in Bristol. A former international athlete who represented Great Britain at kayaking, he advises a wide range of commercial employers, professional clubs and senior employees on contractual matters, Employment Tribunal litigation, and employment issues arising in corporate transactions.

Natalie Read practices both contentious and non-contentious construction law, and specialises in resolving construction disputes, acting for a range of clients including employers, developers, contractors and sub-contractors across a wide range of sectors. A member of Clarke Willmott’s construction team in Bristol, she joined the firm in 2003.

Stephen Rosser, Chief Executive of Clarke Willmott said, “I am delighted that we have internally promoted four of our team to partner. Individually they have demonstrated excellent commitment to their clients and the firm.

“Their promotion comes following a strong year for the firm. We will announce our results later in the summer, but we enjoyed good revenue and profit growth whilst continuing to invest in the future of the business.”
