Clearwater International has advised PHMR Ltd, a global consultancy specialising in market access and health economics outcomes research (HEOR) on its sale to Ashfield Advisory, part of UDG Healthcare Plc, an ecosystem of connected advisory and consultancy businesses for the life sciences industry.
Founded in 2008, PHMR is headquartered in London with offices in Newcastle, UK and Westport, Ireland.
The business employs 40 multidisciplinary, highly-qualified team members of health economists and research scientists, and specialises in health economics, real world evidence, patient reported outcomes, health technology assessment and other HEOR activities, which support market access for a global biopharmaceutical clients.
As part of the sale, PHMR will join the existing Ashfield Advisory company, Putnam Associates, which specialises in strategy consulting exclusively for the biopharmaceutical and medical device industry.
The Clearwater International team consisted of Partner Carl Houghton, Director Hemavli Bali, Associate Directors Will Arnold and Kirsty Handley and Associate Gregory Cornes.
