Construction starts at new Salisbury primary academy

Main entrance approach St Peter’s CE Primary Academy

Work is progressing well on site for the construction of St. Peter’s CE Primary Academy in Salisbury.

Located within a recently completed housing development for Persimmon Homes, the new school is open to primary pupils aged 4 to 11. It will initially take in 90 students in September 2018, gradually increasing capacity to 315.

Benefiting from purpose built facilities including a large hall, large outside green space with playing fields and habitat areas, the school will provide an environment to enable the children to thrive socially and academically.

Halsall Construction is working on the project.

Andy Corp, its Managing Director comments: “We are delighted to help provide vital facilities for the community of Fugglestone Red, Halsall is proud to be working alongside Persimmon Homes and Wiltshire Council and I’m sure the children, staff and parents of this brand new school will be thrilled once it is completed.”

The project is due to be completed in June 2018. Applications are open now for reception-age pupils due to start school in September 2018.
