Cook Corporate Solicitors appoints high profile Chairman

Cook Corporate Solicitors have appointed prominent solicitor, Roger Lane-Smith, as their non-executive Chairman.

Roger was the co-founder of DLA Piper UK LLP, which became the largest law firm in the world. He retired as a Senior Consultant of the firm in 2019 but has continued to work with his client portfolio which includes Timpson Group PLC, MS International PLC, Mostyn Estates Limited, Dynamic Control Limited, Flywheel IT Services Limited, Lomond Capital and Crosslane Property Group Limited.

Roger has been involved in major corporate transactions and also undertakes high-end private client work including being a trustee and executor of some significant estates.

In Roger’s new role at the firm as non-executive Chairman, Roger will work alongside the managing partner, Charles Cook, advising in all aspects of the firm’s strategy and direction of travel as well as working on client matters.
