Copper Consultancy make senior hires to support ongoing growth

Copper Consultancy has continued to grow its team of specialist communications and engagement professionals with the appointment of two new senior members of the Bristol office.

James Gore joins Copper as Account Director, and brings a wealth of experience in stakeholder engagement and crisis management to the team, with particular expertise in local, regional and national government relations. Gore most recently worked as Head of Government and Stakeholder Relations at Bristol Airport.

Speaking on his appointment, he said: “I’m hugely excited to join Copper and start working across their portfolio of major projects. With the Government’s planned investment into an infrastructure revolution, this is a time of unprecedented development for the sector. Working at Copper represents a great opportunity to use my experience in government and stakeholder relations and knowledge of the aviation sector to help deliver successful campaigns for both clients and communities throughout the UK.”

Senior Account Manager, Diana Deans, joins Copper with over 10 years’ experience in corporate communications and stakeholder engagement. Deans brings high-level expertise in delivering internal and external communication campaigns, and has proven experience in building the reputation of large organisations; holding key roles at Bristol Airport, Horizon Nuclear Power and npower.

I’m excited to work alongside key organisations to implement comprehensive communication campaigns, ensuring that communities are engaged in infrastructure and development projects and helping contribute to the growth of the sector.”
