Cybersecurity firm Immersive Labs secures $75m Series C investment

Bristol-based cybersecurity training platform Immersive Labs has today announced a Series C investment of $75m, led by Insight Partners.

The funding round also included new investors Menlo Ventures, Citi Ventures, and existing investor Goldman Sachs.

The funding will be used to develop the company’s innovative technology and expand the team.

Founder and CEO James Hadley said: “As a company, we have always believed people have the potential to make just as big of an impact as technical countermeasures in reducing cyber risk. I would rather have a skilled team capable of making nuanced decisions, thinking laterally, instilling culture and showing leadership than a whole slew of resource-intensive technical countermeasures.”

Ryan Hinkle, managing director at Insight Partners, said: “With significant global customer and revenue growth over the last few years, Immersive Labs has established a strong position in the fast-developing cyber skills space. With influential leadership, an innovative product in a growing market, and strong user engagement, the company is in a position to continue to lead the cyber readiness market.”
