Dating app The Inner Circle expands to South America

The Inner Circle, an exclusive dating app, has today announced its official launch in Rio de Janeiro, Sao Paulo and Buenos Aires. More than 40,000 residents in Sao Paulo have registered on the app, allowing The Inner Circle to reach 1.6 million members.

Founded in 2012 and crowned winner of the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 2018, The Inner Circle is now active in 49 cities, including Dubai, Sydney, San Francisco, Berlin, Los Angeles, Singapore, New York and Hong Kong.

With no funding capital or investment, The Inner Circle has grown to 1.6 million members in just six years. With a small team of 12 across the UK and the Netherlands, the dating app witnessed a 3,460% revenue growth from 2014-2017.

CEO and founder, David Vermeulen comments on the company’s milestone: “With 10,000 prospective members from Rio de Janeiro on the waiting list, and 6,000 approved members already active on the app, we believe the city is getting tired from aimless swiping. It is ready for a quality dating experience. We’re very excited to bring a more personal and refined service to South America, where mutual interests, commitment, and respect will prevail.”
