Droylsden Glass has scooped the Property & Construction Business of the Year award at this year’s Pride of Tameside Business Awards.
The criteria looked at how a company has developed as a business, its quality of service, customer satisfaction and its commitment to staff.
The Manchester-based double-glazing installer won the judges over with its investment in a new and improved showroom, innovative products, including the introduction of smart locking technology and several niche products, and an office refurbishment.
The Pride of Tameside Business Awards celebrates the outstanding work of businesses from different sectors and inspirational individuals from across the region.
Droylsden Glass picked up the award at a gala dinner at Dukinfield Town Hall at the end of the October.
Kevin Thackeray, Managing Director of Droylsden Glass, said: “We are absolutely thrilled to win the Property & Construction Business of the Year award at this year’s Pride of Tameside Business Awards.
“The criteria was very broad and to score so highly in everything that the judges were looking for shows that we are providing the best service that we possibly can.”
The family-run company has been providing home-improvement products and services to homeowners across Greater Manchester for over 37 years.
He continued: “Awards are invaluable to us as a business and our reputation for quality is evidenced by the number we have won over the years.”
