Eddie Stobart CEO quits as shares suspended

Eddie Stobart’s CEO Alex Laffey has stood down from his role with immediate effect, after the firms suspended trading its shares following an accounting error.

The logistics and transportation firm, has revealed that there has been a £2m discrepancy in its accounts last month.

It has also been announced that Sebastien Desreumaux, currently head of iForce and Contract Logistics at Eddie Stobart, will take over from Laffey with immediate effect.
