Extra work perks added by audio branding specialists

An audio branding specialist has added ‘wedding leave’ and ‘proud parent leave’ to its benefits package to help mark this year’s National Work Life Week.
Employees at Manchester-based PHMG now gain an extra week of paid leave if they get married, as well as a day off for their child’s first day of school.
The new benefits join the company’s extensive ‘PH Perks’ programme, which already includes incentives such as an on-site bar, haircuts and beauty treatments, free gym memberships, a discount platform, sport teams, games consoles and pool tables, an ice cream van during summer, access to financial advice, a car valet service and a duvet day on your birthday.
Jason Daye, operations director at PHMG, said:“Your wedding and child’s first day of school are two important yet stressful life events so we wanted to relieve some of the pressure on staff around these times.
“Employee burn-out is a huge issue in the UK, and when 526,000 workers are reportedly suffering from work-related stress, depression or anxiety, it is essential as a company to promote the importance of a good work-life balance.
“We spend the majority of our waking lives at work so we wanted to create a fun and vibrant culture through our benefits package. It’s something our employees really appreciate and has helped to us have a happy, healthy workforce.”
Staff at PHMG also take part in various CSR activities throughout the year under the banner of the company’s charity, the PHMG Foundation. It has raised almost £300,000 for charity in just five years.
PHMG is the world’s largest audio branding agency with more than 32,000 clients in 39 countries worldwide, including Coca-Cola, Audi and Adidas.
