Food Tech co. Future Farm announces £42m Series C funding round
Future Farm, Latin America’s first food-tech brand to develop and produce plant-based meat, has secured £42m in a Series C investment co-led by Rage Capital.
After launching in the UK in January 2020, the company is now worth over $400m, growing at a rate of 960% annually in Europe, and has broken records with its new funding round.
The brand boasts one of the the highest Series C investment raised for a plant-based meat company in the UK, closing at £42m, signifying a huge step forward for the plant-based category which is now valued at $4.2bn globally, and at $0.8bn in the UK, growing at 17% annually.
