A fast-growing telecoms firms has made what is arguably its most senior and high-profile appointment.

Jane Vivian has joined Pure Comms as Business Development Director. She was previously a director at Weston College for two years; and before that was an influential figure in North Somerset Council’s Economic Development team.

At the local authority Jane played a pivotal role in the launch of its ‘In North Somerset brand’; as well as helping to establish the region as a successful business destination.

Pure Comms is a 15 strong telecoms company that launched six years ago; experiencing huge success which has seen it land a string of major customers such as Bonhams and the Cooperative. Most recently its CEO Rob Vivian was shortlisted at the prestigious Institute of Directors (IoD) Awards.

In her new role Jane will take control of marketing and also oversee new business development; as well as sitting at board level where she will have influence over the company’s commercial decisions and strategic direction.

Jane comments: “I am naturally delighted to be taking on this new role and will utilise my previous career experience to ensure Pure Comms continues to thrive as a business – pushing innovation and winning new clients.”

She is a natural leader, organiser and motivator and has strong connections into the South West business community. This is a statement of intent for Pure Comms and a clear signal that we mean business.”

Pure Comms has been in business for six years and has two offices, one just outside of Bristol and one in St Austell in Cornwall.
