Four new partners at Bristol legal practice

International legal practice Osborne Clarke has announced five senior promotions in its Bristol office.

There are four new partners at the firm, which has over 400 people at its offices at Temple Quay.

The new Bristol-based partners are; Helen Parsonage, who works in the financial services sector and specialises in fund formation; Simon Jones, an expert in venture capital and private equity investments and exits; David Shakesby, who will focus on property disputes, contentious planning and public law; and Marc Shrimpling, a competition law expert.

In addition to the partner promotions in Bristol, Douglas Peden, a litigator and head of Osborne Clarke’s aerospace and defence sector group, has been promoted to legal director.
