Some of technology’s brightest lights are among the newly announced line up for this year’s Bristech conference.
After sifting through 100+ submissions, organisers have selected 18 speakers to present at the event, which this year takes place on November 3rd at The Watershed.
Sessions will cover a diverse range of topics from across the technical spectrum including new programming languages, DevOps techniques, web frameworks and approaches to security.
• Tim Jarrett, Security strategist, and DevOps enthusiast at Veracode
• Jen Williams, Developer of linked open data tech at Networked Planet
• Dan Fairs, Founder, ex-Tech Director at Second Sync.
Bespoke software consultancy Scott Logic, ForgeRock, and Dyson, the technology company that are the conference’s gold sponsors this year.
Bristech co-founder Nic Hemley, who is also Head of Development at Scott Logic’s Bristol Development Centre comments: “We feel incredibly privileged indeed to be announcing such a strong line-up of speakers with local, overseas and female technologists.
“Our key task is to curate a diverse set of quality talks and our job is made so much the easier by the sheer quality of submissions. We will now be enthusiastically counting down the weeks to the event, and opening our doors to around 400 delegates on the day.”
