10 healthcare clients have partnered with Unily and invested over £1.3 million to enhance the employee experience and improve internal communications. Hospitals and UK health institutions alike are working with Unily to create bespoke digital workplaces for over 64,000 healthcare employees, as the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic have drawn attention to the need for a more connected workforce to combat the strain the sector has faced this year.

St George’s University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust are using the Unily platform to replace their legacy intranet with a digital workplace platform for their 9,000 staff. The bespoke workplace platform is designed to engage employees and act as a single source of truth for their diverse workforce, ensuring everyone is kept up to date.

Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust has launched their new digital workplace platform for their 10,000 desk-based and frontline staff. The Trust has partnered with Unily to create a central hub where staff based at their three hospitals and their satellite sites can share information and collaborate to deliver outstanding care to more than 1.6 million patients every year.

Additionally, major US healthcare businesses have also invested heavily in a Unily employee experience platform to connect their staff across locations and devices. Engagement with COVID-19 related content within these platforms have seen a major increase, highlighting the demand for information across businesses and the need for open dialogue through times of crisis and change.

Jo Skilton, Chief Commercial Officer for Unily, says: “Unily are proud to partner with leading healthcare providers. In the current challenging climate and its resulting strain on healthcare services, we are empowering the healthcare sector with the best digital employee experiences to support them in continuing to deliver exceptional care to patients. Our reputation for providing outstanding digital workplaces for healthcare organisations across the world further highlights the important role Unily plays in revolutionising the way people communicate and collaborate at work.”

Not only do Unily support digital transformations for many healthcare organisations, they also partner with a cross-section of FTSE 500 companies including Shell, The Hershey Company, and McDonalds to implement digital workplace solutions.
