A global law firm has taken space in one of Newcastle’s most iconic buildings. Clyde & Co will expand into a 6,667 sq ft office on the fourth floor of Central Square South.
The property’s common areas – including the café and conference facility – are currently undergoing a refurbishment.
Lambert Smith Hampton and Cushman & Wakefield negotiated the letting on behalf of Standard Life Investments.
Neil Osborne, director at Lambert Smith Hampton, said: “Central Square South is undoubtedly one of the highest quality buildings in the city – there is currently an acute shortage of grade A space in the city centre.”
Eversheds recently relocated within the building, while a further 43,000 sq ft of space is also being marketed.
