Global technology recruitment company Talent has announced the appointment of former People Source Consulting Senior Director Phil Orsborn as Regional Manager to spearhead ambitious growth plans across the UK, alongside two new consultants to lead in key markets.
Armed with over twenty years’ experience in the technology and digital recruitment sector, Phil Orsborn has spent the last eight years with Experis/People Source in Bristol as a Regional Manager and Senior Director, building and leading the teams of both permanent and contract consultants.
On joining Talent, Phil Orsborn said: “I am very excited at the prospect of growing and developing the team in Bristol. We have a fantastic platform and I fully expect the Bristol office to become a real force in the South West market over the next few months and years.”
This appointment is part of Talent’s ambitious growth plans in the UK. The company currently operates 16 offices across the UK, Europe, North America and APAC. Following significant investment in its UK operations, Talent has exceeded 65% year-on-year revenue growth in the UK over the past three years and NFI growth has exceeded 50% year-on-year over the same timeline.
Talent’s EMEA CEO, Jon Butterfield, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Phil to the Talent team. Phil’s knowledge of the markets, both corporate and non-corporate as well as the tech start up environment will be essential to the development of Talent’s local geographic sales territory, and I look forward to seeing him manage the development, performance and general wellbeing of our Bristol team.
“It’s an exciting time for the technology and digital sector, which is driving forward the UK’s economy. Bristol and the wider South West region are one of the country’s top technological hubs, and we look forward to working with Phil and his team to help support the success and growth of the region.”
