Clearwater has advised CloudShift, a Salesforce partner in the UK specialising in multi-cloud digital transformation, on its sale to Globant, which will reinforce Globant’s position in digital and cognitive transformation, by scaling its cloud expertise.
Like Globant, Cloudshift is a Salesforce Platinum Partner, and has a proven track record of enterprise level digital transformation. This includes deep multi cloud technical expertise in the entire Salesforce product stack including MuleSoft, Tableau and Slack.
The Clearwater International team consisted of Managing Partner Marcus Archer, TMT Director Wesley Fell-Smith, Associate Directors Finn O’Driscoll, Jonathan Grant and Kirsten Handley and Senior Associate Chris Grayston.
Alastair Murray, founder and CEO, Cloudshift, said: “We are thrilled to become part of the Globant family and be part of the ambitious expansion plans. When we first met Clearwater, we described the ideal acquirer for our business. The Clearwater International team worked closely with us to make sure our business was presented as well as it could be and drawing on their deep market knowledge, Wes and the team delivered multiple offers from highly credible strategic acquirers. They were with us every step of the way and negotiated a fantastic deal for the shareholders, our employees and our partners. If anyone ever says selling a business is easy, they are kidding and it really helped that we enjoyed working with Wes and the team, who were willing to have challenging conversations with us and on our behalf.”
