Graham Atkins appointed new Managing Partner at New Street Consulting Group
People advisory firm New Street Consulting Group (NSCG) has announced that Graham Atkins has joined the team as Managing Partner, as part of plans to grow the business significantly.
Graham joins following 16 years at Korn Ferry, where he was a Senior Partner acting as a strategic advisor to leaders and their teams on issues of organisational strategy, enterprise leadership, culture and change.
He will take a board role at NSCG, supporting the business’s strategic development. NSCG supports ambitious organisations across a wide range of sectors to find, assess, build and accelerate teams and leaders in order to solve business’ most complex challenges.
As managing partner, Graham will lead the talent consultancy arm of the group, which covers board review, leadership assessment and development, executive coaching and talent intelligence.
Graham’s appointment follows hot-on-the-heels of the appointment of Dave Lea, who was brought in to head up the talent acquisition division of the group.
NSCG CEO, Doug Baird, said: “Over recent years we’ve invested heavily in talent and infrastructure to drive this next phase of growth for the business; bringing our three brands of Interim Partners, Brightpool and Wickland Westcott under the New Street Consulting Group umbrella. It’s now time to scale and to do this we know the importance of strong leadership.
“Graham brings with him a wealth of experience and expertise, as both a leader and as someone who is a known trusted adviser to many senior teams and individuals.”
Graham Atkins added: “NSCG is an ambitious business working with trailblazing organisations across a number of sectors. The opportunity to join at such a critical point in its journey was a compelling one, as is the opportunity to make a real impact for our clients.
“From the climate crisis to culture wars, global security and post-pandemic recovery, the challenges facing our clients are significant. Yet history shows us that with the right people, we’re capable of amazing things. As a leading people advisory firm, NSCG is superbly placed to help address these and I look forward to working with the team and our clients to unleash their potential.”
