Grant Thornton advises Cream Care on securing investment

Business and financial adviser Grant Thornton UK LLP has successfully obtained investment in Cream Care from Civitas Investment Management Limited.

Cream Care is a provider of residential care and supported living services for individuals with profound and multiple learning disabilities based in Taunton, and currently operates six homes across the South West of England.

Civitas Investment Management has completed more than 140 individual real estate transactions and is the founder and investment adviser to Civitas Social Housing.

The deal was led locally in Bristol by Nick Jones, Corporate Finance Associate Director, with sector input from Corporate Finance Partner and Head of Healthcare M&A at Grant Thornton, Peter Jennings, and support from Assistant Manager, Anna Parsons. Grant Thornton also provided tax advisory services led by Tax Partners Nicholas Parkinson and Matt Maltz.

Nick Jones, Associate Director, Corporate Finance, Grant Thornton UK LLP, comments: “Cream Care is an outstanding business and we are delighted to have completed this deal which sets the business up for the next stage of its growth. We have worked closely with Cream Care and Martin for a number of years and we are excited about continuing to work alongside them to support the development going forward.”
