Weston and District Chamber of Trade and Commerce has organised a special guest speaker for the next meeting on Wednesday 21 September.
James Durie, Director of The Initiative, Business West, and Director of the Bristol Chamber of Commerce, will be speaking about the Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) and how it could help with the region’s financial future. The LEP is a group made up of council officials and local business leaders and aims to encourage economic growth in the region.
The meeting will start at 7pm and will take place at the Royal Hotel, Weston-super-Mare.
Gail Parsons, President of the Weston and District Chamber of Trade and Commerce, said: “We are delighted that James Durie will be speaking at our next meeting and look forward to finding out more about the LEP. In the current economic climate, we have no doubt that this topic will be of great interest to many of our members and look forward to seeing them at the meeting.”
The meeting is open both to members and non-members.
