Hat trick of land sales to boost supply of new homes in Yorkshire

Property services firm, Cushman & Wakefield has completed a hat-trick of sales of residential development sites which will deliver 338 new homes in West and East Yorkshire.

On behalf of Agfa Graphics, Cushman & Wakefield negotiated the sale of 7.6 acres of surplus land adjacent to their existing manufacturing facility at Coal Road in Leeds to Redrow Homes. Redrow has now commenced The Hawthorns development comprising 72 three and four-bedroom homes.

On behalf of the Highfield Partnership, Cushman & Wakefield has completed the sale of eight acres of former agricultural land in Driffield, East Yorkshire to Kier Living. The proposed scheme will deliver 86 three and four-bedroom homes and forms Phase 2 of its Sycamore Park development.

On behalf of the Hull & East Yorkshire NHS Trust, Cushman & Wakefield has completed the sale of 20 acres of surplus land opposite Castle Hill Hospital in Cottingham to Persimmon Homes. The proposed scheme of 180 dwellings will include a broad range of two, three and four-bedroom homes.
