The health and wellbeing of staff is on the agenda of business leader’s, now more than ever.

And one Bristol recruitment firm recently found a novel way to boost team morale by taking all of its 65 staff to a rugby match.

Heat Recruitment took 65 members of their team along to a Bristol Bears match to celebrate their hard work and ongoing productivity.

To the delight of Heat the Bristol Bears defeated Gloucester at Ashton Gate Stadium with the scoreline finishing 21 – 13.

Steve Preston, Managing Director of Heat Recruitment said: “At Heat we are having a fantastic year of exponential growth. Not only is our team growing rapidly, but the level of talent we are developing and fostering internally is really impressive. I couldn’t be prouder.

“Our leading ethos’ at Heat centres around socialising, rewards and enjoyment of the surrounding Bristol area. It was an easy decision to take the team along to support the Bristol Bears. We have been sponsoring them for four months now and it was just great to get everyone together to watch and enjoy the match and celebrate a really impressive month.

Dan Hazzard, Managing Consultant at Heat Recruitment said: “We had an absolutely amazing day, supporting The Bristol Bears. One of the great things about working at Heat is the sheer emphasis put on us building relationships, giving back to the local community and having fun as we go! Put that alongside the businesses  commitment to training and development and you have a brilliant working environment.

“Watching the Bears was a real treat and we are all really looking forward to our internal Christmas festivities that are coming up soon.”
