After a study claimed 77.5% of Brits don’t want a job that involves travelling, Alpha Gamma Solutions has hit back, outlining how travel has been a key driver in growing its talent pool and has advised how it is creating memorable and enjoyable business trips for its professionals.

New research from CV Library has stated that 77.5% of Brits would not like a job that involved travelling with an additional 28% revealing they would turn down a job offer if it meant regular travel.

52.4% of the 1200 UK workers surveyed said they would not like to travel abroad for work with reasons for the response including missing time spent with friends/family (51.9%), the time that travelling takes (14.7%), and giving up weekends or free time (7.9%).

Outsourced direct marketing and sales company, Alpha Gamma Solutions strongly disagrees with these findings and has claimed that its business has thrived on the opportunities to travel with the company.

After further conclusions of the study revealed there is a distinct generational gap when it comes to those wanting to travel, Alpha Gamma Solutions authenticates that its professionals are predominantly millennials who are the most prominent advocates of business travel. 64.6% of 25-35 years olds state that they would like the opportunity to travel, which rises to 78.1% of those under 18.

Alpha Gamma Solutions state that if individuals want to be successful in the sales and marketing industry then they need to have fun and broaden their horizons with travel.

The company travel for national and international conferences, networking events, R&R holidays and getaways, much of which come from regular incentives. Alpha Gamma Solutions believe that travel helps to teach the essentials of becoming a successful entrepreneur by developing networks, being exposed to different environments and dealing with new situations.
