HTG growth prompts head office relocation

Global IT solutions experts Howell Technology Group (HTG) has relocated its head office from South Shields to Hebburn, Tyne and Wear.
The firm’s move to Monkton Business Park South is part of its growth strategy, and sees it vacate a headquarters it has occupied for 14 years.
It follows HTG’s impressive growth over the past few years, which has seen its workforce quadruple.
However, its bricks-and-mortar investment goes even further; in addition to relocating its headquarters, HTG has invested in two further offices, enabling the company to have an important presence in both Edinburgh and London.
Founder and CTO, Kevin Howell, said: “The relocation of our business to Monkton Business Park South represents an exciting period of growth for HTG.
“As the company continues to grow, these larger premises will provide the necessary space to fulfil our growth potential while also being able to accommodate our employees and customers in our new state of the art office.”
Since launching in 2005, HTG has gone on to become one of the leading IT solutions providers.
It counts the likes of Citrix, VMware and Microsoft among its clients, and offers an end-to-end service, from strategy to delivery, meaning all services can be accessed under one roof.
It has recently won a number of new contracts from both the public and private sector, and CEO Graham Wight says the office move will now help fulfil an ambitious growth strategy.
He said: “We have witnessed excellent year-on-year growth here at HTG.
“We have seen a significant increase in sales which has resulted in the growth of our workforce.
“Our new HQ at Monkton Business Park South is able to support our future strategic growth which enables us to support all our customers’ needs.
“The other really exciting news is our new office in Edinburgh, supporting our expansion into the Scottish ICT market, as well us now having an office in London.
“It really is exciting times here at HTG.”
