Inspire team stood outside of stone building

Business growth specialists Inspire have been endorsed as Scaleup Ambassadors for Swindon and Wilshire by the ScaleUp Institute for the second year running.

The ScaleUp Institute is a private sector, not-for-profit company focussed on making the UK the place to scale up a business.

The Institute does this by working with policymakers to identify opportunities that will support scaleup businesses and sharing ideas to create resources that will help aspiring scaleup businesses.

Inspire have been endorsed as Scaleup Ambassadors in the annual ScaleUp Review once again for the work they do with scaleup businesses in Swindon and Wiltshire and the programme they have put in place.

The Swindon and Wiltshire Local Enterprise Partnership works with Inspire to provide intensive support to scaleups, creating a three-five-year strategy for growth through the Inspire Elite Programme.

The Inspire Elite programme has been delivering intensive support over the past two years to almost 150 business by focussing on a combination of peer-to-peer networking, education, intensive support through workshops, one-to-one advice, and a strong ecosystem involving a wide-ranging group of more than 60 partner organisations.

Inspire has also partnered with Goldman Sachs to introduce members to the 10,000 Small Businesses UK programme, a key element of which is an opportunity to help scaling businesses develop clear business strategies for business growth.

“Being ScaleUp Ambassadors for Swindon and Wiltshire is a real feather in our cap but, more importantly, it shows that the programme we have in place provides the right support and solutions to help scaleups in the area overcome the key challenges,” said Rob Perks, CEO of Inspire.

“The Goldman Sachs programme is also proving invaluable to businesses, with a third of members having been through the programme.

“At Inspire, we have invested in ongoing training and development for our client-facing team, so we can provide scaleups with all the help they need.”

This year, Inspire are hoping to achieve the ScaleUp Institute Gold Standard, and Rob added: “We are going for gold status this year, which would be absolutely fantastic both for us and our clients.”

Inspire have now launched a similar programme in the Bristol area and are looking to launch into the heart of the South West in the spring.
