Intuit appoints new UK Country Manager

Today, Intuit, the makers of QuickBooks, a global online accounting software, announced the appointment of Chris Evans as VP and UK Country Manager. Evans, part of the Intuit UK team for eight years, steps up from UK Sales Director and succeeds Dominic Allon who moves to SVP International at Intuit.

QuickBooks backs the UK’s small businesses, self-employed and accounting professionals by enabling them to embrace digital to manage their finances, save time and make money.

By doing this, fewer small businesses fail and accounting professionals can become more profitable. This strategy has seen QuickBooks Online subscriber growth of 84% year-on-year in the UK.

Commenting on his appointment, Chris said: “I’m privileged to become UK Country Manager and lead a talented team in the third best workplace in the UK**. Most of all I’m passionate about stopping small business failure. They are the backbone of the British economy but 50% fail in the first five years.

“By adopting digital behaviours, small businesses can thrive and set their sights on success. My mission at QuickBooks is to work hand in hand with the accounting industry to enable small businesses to embrace digital, solve cash flow and unlock growth.”
