ISL Recruitment has been named second on the Great Place to Work® UK 2020 list of Best Workplaces™ for Women in the UK in the small business category.
The Bristol headquarted firm, has 22 employees with a 60-40 male-female representative split, and specialises in IT, tech and engineering recruitment.
As part of the process to qualify to be on the list, the business was comprehensively audited on both employee experience and business practices and compared with organisations across various industries.
Alan Furley, director of ISL, which also came 11th overall on the Great Place to Work® UK 2020 small business list earlier in the year, comments: “We believe our culture is a result of the mission we created when we established ISL in 2007.
“We set out to create a mature working environment where people enjoy coming to work, are treated equally and with respect, and are listened to. It is because of this that we believe we have attracted women to ISL and achieved such good representation and levels of retention.”
