Solar lighting supplier Kaemingk has announced details of a new strategic distribution deal with a leading independent wholesale and cash and carry operator.

The Dutch company will now see its outdoor solar lighting products being distributed by Stax Trade Centres, in a move which will extend the solar lighting offering made to the 50,000 Stax customers in the UK.

Stax purchasing director, Simon Wright said: “Kaemingk have 80 years of experience, and a range that covers more than 20,000 decorative items for the home and garden, so they are extremely well-established both in the UK and abroad.

“They are certainly a trend-setter for outdoor living so we’re delighted to be distributing their Lumineo Spring – Summer outdoor lighting range, and we’ll have some 175 different Lumineo lines available.

“This will give our customers access to a really wide range of good quality lighting solutions, all at attractive wholesale prices which create a good profit margin for them. The minimum order quantity will be just £300 which they’ll be able to make up from our 45,000 other lines, so it will be easy for them to extend and diversify their ranges without struggling to meet multiple minimum order requirements.”

Stax is dedicated to supporting the independent garden centre and retailer, and this distribution deal with such a prominent organisation as Kaemingk is tangible proof of that dedication. Stax will be revealing further details of the Kaemingk lines it will carry at forthcoming exhibitions such as Big Brands 2018, and GLEE where it will be sharing a stand with Kaemingk.

Simon added: “Kaemingk recognises the enormous potential of the UK outdoor lighting market and is working to grow the opportunities it presents. We see the distribution deal as a great step forward in providing a better service to lighting customers throughout the important spring and summer season, and we anticipate that both parties will benefit.”
