Midas Construction add to team in Wales

Midas Construction has strengthened its team in Wales with a series of key appointments to its construction business.

It comes as the Midas Group, one of the UK’s largest privately-owned construction and property services providers, looks to build on more than £50 million of projects recently completed or currently under way in Wales.

Midas Construction Director Dave Mitchell leads the team based in Midas’s Newport office. working alongside Chris Jones (Managing Quantity Surveyor).

They have been joined by fellow Welshmen Paul Morgan (Pre-construction Manager)  Neil Phillpotts (Operations Manager), and Dean Richards, Senior Design Manager.

The strengthened team, bring considerable experience working for major UK construction firms,  on a wide range of public, private, commercial and residential projects in Wales, the wider UK and internationally.

Midas Construction has recently delivered a number of high-profile projects in Wales, ranging from the 355-bedroom Fitzalan Court and 281-bedroom Arofan House student accommodation schemes, both in Cardiff city centre, to the creation of a new prestigious vehicle dealership for White Dove Motor Group, also in Cardiff.

It is currently working on the refurbishment and extension of the five-storey Caradog House, near to the National Museum and City Hall in Cardiff, increasing its height by two-storeys and adding a new four-storey extension to provide 374 single and twin-studio apartments.
